Expect the Unexpected

Wall Street is about expectations. The earnings have largely met these lowered expectations so far. In some cases like KO they just did well period. NBR recommended emerging market staples like Coke, Colgate, and NIKE.
They are looking good right now. Note the companies are looking good. The stocks are down slightly as money has pulled out of these defensive plays to invest in higher risk/higher reward.

For now at least. When the exuberance ceases these may be cheap picks going up up up. Safe.

I did not add more DUG. The stop is a bit below 32. There is too much momentum here.
TWM hit hard to today. This is a good reason to have a light holdings either long or short during important earnings such as these.

Also CMED has bounced back quite a bit, perhaps partly on short covering.
